What is required to become a new member?
Prospective members are required to attend three meetings (Sept to June) and participate in a committee for an event before they are officially installed. This allows a prospective member to get a better sense of club activity, dynamics, and our camaraderie. Installations will be offered 1-2 times a year (typically December and May)
What is required from current members?
$50 annual dues (due each January)
We expect our current members to attend 7 out of 10 meetings.
If you co-chair an event or activity or serve on two event committees, this reduces to 5 out of 10 meetings for the year
If failed to maintain, "probation" for one year – involvement in 2 committees to regain member status
What are member benefits?
Members (that are not on “probation”) have voting rights on strategic planning for events (date, vision, etc)
Only members can co-chair an event while prospects can only co-chair activities (writing contest and charitable item drives)
Members can vote on the annual philanthropy distribution of our net proceeds for the year.Member benefits - starting with Santa Breakfast (12/15/18) all events going forward, each member has one free adult ticket
