2020 Holiday Lights Contest Winners Announced!

The winner of the Community Choice Award (FaceBook contest) is...
EGAN TERRACE, RIVER VALE!!! 1.1K LIKES and 89 ❤️.  Wow! What an exciting display set to music!

Coming in a very close second is Hermann Ave, River Vale with 1K LIKES and 171 ❤️ . Well done!

The winner of the 2020 Clark Griswold Award is...YESLER WAY, HILLSDALE! A truly brilliant display of lights. 

The runner-up for the Clark Griswold Award is Ruckman Drive, Hillsdale! So many adorable glittering holiday characters!

The winner of the 2020 Traditional Award is...JOHN COURT, PARK RIDGE! A sight to behold and simply stunning!

The runner-up for the Traditional Award is Saddlwood Drive, Hillsdale! Enchanting and classic!

There were so many amazing homes to choose from and we are grateful to all the contestants for their participation. Half of the proceeds from the event will go to local charities. Through the generosity of the contestants $380  was raised for local charities.

To encourage a sense of community and holiday spirit by rewarding Pascack Valley residents that go above-and-beyond in decorating their home for the winter holiday season.

Contest Rules
Decorations must be visible from the roadway.
Decorations for the contest must be available and lit up on December 11th, 12th, and 13th between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. for judging.

Contestants must complete an Entry Form and pay the $15 Entry Fee. (see below)

Last day to submit an online entry form is Saturday, December 5th, 2020.
Contest winners will be announced on the Paskack Junior Women's Club's website and on our Pascack Area Events & Activities FaceBook Page on Saturday, December 19th, 2020.

By registering for the contest you agree to have your home address included on a list that will be provided to participants of our Holiday House Hop. For details on the Holiday House Hop please click here. 

The contest is open to New Jersey's Pascack Valley residents only including: Montvale, Park Ridge, Woodcliff Lake, Hillsdale, Westwood, River Vale, Washington Township, and Emerson. The towns of Oradell and Old Tappan are included in the “greater” Pascack Valley and are also permitted to participate in the contest.

Community Choice (FaceBook contest)


The Clark W Griswold and Traditional Awards will be determined by the Paskack Junior Women's Club board members.

The Community Choice Award will be determined by online voting via Facebook.  Contestants who wish to participate in the Community Choice Award must submit their address and a photo of their house lit up by Sunday, December 6th to: 

The household with the most Likes by end of day on Sunday, December 13 will win the contest.

Contestants may only win one award.

Contest Entrance Fee
The contest entrance fee is $15. Half of the proceeds from the contest will be given to local charities and the other half will be divided among the three contest winners.
