What do our Departments Do?
We are structured from the Federation - the GFWC - see below for Club & International Objectives!

ART
This department focuses on the “arts”: cooking, theater, and basic arts & crafts.  This department can have activities for members to enjoy, children to enjoy, and can support all events as requested by departments.  Creativity is not necessary – but it helps…a great framework is laid out from previous chairwomen as well as the State.

CONSERVATION
This department encourages re-use, recycle, collections of anything!!!  Our Bergen County Zoo & Wildlife Center have tons of opportunities this department can share with the club.  Did you know we adopt a street in Park Ridge?  Many new ideas we can implement as well!

EDUCATION
This department leads our Story-time, Spelling Bee, Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, our Book Club, Box Tops…anything can be.  Partner with libraries…anything!

HEALTH
This department keeps us connected with current health programs, walk-a-thons, walking club, organizes blood drives, health speakers welcome to meetings, first aid kits were done one year, CPR class... the sky’s the limit…

HOME LIFE

The “heartbeat” of the Club.  This department stays busy – visits to the nursing homes, playdates, food drives, meals for new moms, Santa Letters, adopted families, wish trees…so much more!!

INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

UNICEF falls under here, Operation Christmas Child, and initiative you can bring to the table…celebrate Oktoberfest, Cinco de Mayo…
