·       Measuring Carbon Footprint (how much carbon we generate into the environment) is a first step towards reducing your individual emissions or footprint. www.makemesustainable.com is a good example of a website tool that will track individual as well as group progress in reducing carbon emissions and carbon footprint.

Junk mail consumes 52 million trees each year and produces 5.2 million tons of CO2 emissions which is equal to annual emission of 2 million cars.
