·       Websites that help in reducing junk mail: www.catalogchoice.com is free and www.greendimes.com has a one time $15 fee to help you eliminate junk mail and which helps save trees. Junk mail consumes 52 million trees each year and produces 5.2 million tons of CO2 emissions which is equal to annual emission of 2 million cars.
